Ceylon tea comes from the republic of Sri Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon. Sri Lanka is a small island, but it has an enormous range in elevation, so the flavors of the teas produced there range quite widely. The strength of Ceylon tea lies not merely in the volume of production but also in its' superlative quality and taste. Todays’ annual tea production should be over 340 million kilograms with many varieties. Tea-growing areas are situated in the central highlands and southern inland foothills, at various elevations. 

Tea Tasting
Tea Room is well equipped with all the facilities for Grading and Tasting. Tea tasting operations will carried out by our expert tea tasters in order to evaluate quality of the tealeaves and liquors. Weekly pre-auctions samples, production samples and the final product samples will graded and tasted according to the buyer’s standards of various destinations.
